City of Coos Bay Forum on the Homeless at Regular Meeting Tuesday September 19

At their regularly scheduled city council meeting on September 19, 2017, at 7:00 pm, the city of Coos Bay will be having a Forum on the Transient Problem, which has become an overwhelming situation for the city officials.  To their credit, the police finally did their job and removed the trespassers from a couple of campsites, but there are several more active sites on private property.

Since it took public persuasion to get the police department to act then, the people will have to keep up the pressure to make sure they continue to make their presence known.

Local law enforcement has the specific duty to protect the rights of every individual involved in the situation, including the transient.  They too have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

However, the transient does not have the authority to violate the rights of others or to impose their lifestyle and expenses of those who reject it.....Rob T.

The Return Deadline for the Referendum Petitions is
October 1st, 2017

Don't just sit there and say I'll sign if I see them. It's past time to take action against the overreach of Oregon's administration and stop some of the damage they are imposing on Oregon.

At the top of the list is stopping public funded abortions. Do you know that you can get an abortion in Oregon up to and on the day of natural birth. That is outright murder and now you are forced to allow your tax dollars to pay for it. This won't stop abortions, but it will set the frame work towards that effort if we can win this step.
To print an individual form or better still, order sheets to circulate in your church, neighborhood, or family and friends.

Referendum Petition Due Back by October 1st, 2017.

Stop the overreach of government on their path to eventually take all our guns. There are options to print individual or group petitions.

Repeal 719 :: Unconstitutional Gun Confiscation
www.repeal719.com
Oregon Senate Bill 719 calls for the forced confiscation of property by the police with NO due process, NO accusation of a crime let alone conviction of a crime.

Stop the tax on every health care aspect there is that will raise health insurance premium significantly. Every charge we place on the insurance industry always has to roll down hill and we pay for it in higher premiums.
