On Thursday, October 4th, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm there will be a presentation on Ballot Measure 6-143, the proposed Home Rule Charter for Coos County. The event will be in the Bandon Library Community room.
Nine counties in Oregon already have a Home Rule Charter. A Home Rule Charter includes specifically defined mandates, guidelines, and conditions spelled out in one document.
Come and learn about the Charter and how it will let voters decide on major spending and growth issues on regularly scheduled election dates. Questions welcomed. Refreshments.
ARRRG's Voice of the Voters group is continuing to present a series of Town Hall meetings. For more information see www.CoosCountyCharter.com.
