The federal government via The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department is going to buy or seize property along the Coquille River. The agency is calling this “Comprehensive Conservation Planning.” This is part and parcel of the city of Bandon’s Comprehensive Parks Plan and the Eco-Tourism Center.
We need to stop the Feds from this land grab and we need to stop the city from extending the debt of their Urban Renewal Agency in Area #1.
Below are some links to the Fish and Wildlife and there is a form for public comment that has to be in by December 16th, so please fill it out and send it in.
Then, call the Coos County Commissioners and tell them to VOTE NO on the Bandon Resolution. Then tell them to VOTE NO on resolutions from any of the 5 Urban Renewal Agencies in Coos County that will increase or extend debt.
