The Bandon City Council voted in favor of the Bandon Resolution to increase the Urban Renewal debt. I will be filing the paperwork tomorrow to start a referendum petition.
The Council also voted to give permission for the creation of a new taxing district to the swimming pool committee. This was a concerence vote and the reason was so the public could have the chance to vote on the issue. However, they never seem do that for changes to the urban renewal areas. Hmmmm
Well, tomorrow we have the BOC meeting and it should be an exciting one.....The Board has the resolution against the Bandon Marsh Expansion and they are suppose to vote on it tomorrow. We will see........
