Open Letter to the Coos County Board of Commissioners about the SCCF

I, Connie Martin, have asked that my comments on your recent decision to approve the SCCF and it's bylaws along with ratifying the founding members, to be read, as a doctor's appointment keeps me from attending personally.

I'm continually amazed that you, Ms. Cribbins/Mr. Sweet continue to support and vote for issues that majority of us that attend the BOC meetings DO NOT approve. I am not only disheartened and disgusted, that I can barely stay civil. I find your actions despicable and reprehensible that you would call a special secretive session to approve the SCCF, its bylaws and founding members WITHOUT our 3rd representative, Bob Main. Equally disgraceful is the Bayfront Investment Corp meetings are also scheduled with out Bob. He was even denied a teleconference to be included on this very important and impacting issue.

The only interpretation I can get from your actions is that you two are going to find any means to enact your own personal agenda, undoubtedly influenced by local corrupt elitists who have the same 'brain enlargement' for power and greed as the Feds that believe that We the People are incapable of knowing what we want in governmental leadership. I do not believe for one minute that you care at all what we want and have told you we want, because you want only to control over the community's development (or non-development) and the monies that come from it.

As far as I'm concerned you should be impeached and replaced immediately for your disgraceful non-leadership.
