I do not support the public funding of political campaigns, so I had to post this about a candidate that I endorsed. It is important to be honest in reporting and presidential candidate, Gary Johnson, should not have taken this money. However, I blame this financial political support system and the politicians who created it.
Federal Election Commission Certifies Federal Matching Funds for Gary Johnson
WASHINGTON – The Federal Election Commission has certified $202,025.78 in federal matching funds to Gary Earl Johnson for the 2012 primary election. The certified amount was in response to the fourth submission for matching funds made by Governor Gary Johnson/Gary Johnson 2012, Inc. The United States Treasury
Department transferred the certified amount on Tuesday, December 18.
