THE TEA PARTYER

September 3, 2012

The non-profit group “Coos County Today” will be having several Advisory Question meetings across the county to discuss the importance of farms and ranches in the local economy.   Agriculture is one of the four base industries in any financial system. Also, it provides the food and livestock needed to nourish and maintain our families.

The agrarian lifestyle of Coos County is being threatened by the US Fish &  Wildlife Service from the planned expansion of the Bandon marsh.   It is important to attend these meetings and learn the valuable reasons
why the people of Coos County have to reject those plans and Vote NO on the Bandon Marsh Expansion.  There will be an update on the Comprehensive Conservation Plan, which will be released by the USFWS in the next couple of weeks.   The “CCP” will determine whether The Service will continue with the planned expansion or halt their acquisitions of private property.

Here are those Important Dates:
September 8th & 9th, 2012 Saturday & Sunday---All Day the group “Coos County Today” will have a
booth at Cranberry Festival in Downtown Bandon
.  There will be several farmers and ranchers from the local area discussing the importance of agriculture to the local economy.   Contact: Don Chance at 541-329-2020
