City of Port Orford Update: The Council rejects Marine Sanctuary

Hey Watchdogs,
The Port Orford city councilors voted unanimously not to form a National Marine Sanctuary committee in the Mayors absence.  The voters are going to the Curry BOC to get a resolution against the establishment of all marine estuaries, reserves, and sanctuaries. 

A group of citizens filed a recall petition against the Mayor.  See The Republic still stands, no matter how wobbly it may be….Rob T.
