Good afternoon Folks!
The February 27th Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday Business Connection (WBC) will be a presentation featuring Roy W. Lowe. Project leader for the Ocean National Wildlife Refuge Complex--USFWS, with the talked entitled, "Tidal Marsh Restoration in the Coquille River Estuarty". In September 2011, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and its many partners completed a 418-arce tidal marsh restoration project on the Ni-les'tun Unit of Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge in the Coquille River Estuary. The project required three years of construction and constitutes the largest tidal marsh restoration project ever completed in Oregon. The WBC luncheon in Febuary are sponsored by NW Natural. This WBC session will be held in the Saw Blade Buffet Room at the Mill Casino from 11:30 to 1:00 PM, February 27, 2013. These luncheons are open to all community members who are inerested in attending, but we ask you contact the Chamber office at 541-266-0868 or by email to ensure there is enough food prepared.
