The City of North Bend is holding a public meeting to take comment on using Urban Renewal money for Façade Loans and Grants. Façade is the perfect name for such a pretentious taxing program.
This is a form of corporate welfare and the program has little to no oversight, so please attend these meetings and convince the City of North Bend to stop wasting tax dollars. These types of Urban Renewal funding are notoriously misused by politicians.
Urban Renewal affects every property taxpayer in the county.
