Americans for Responsive Responsible Representative Government:
Wednesday, October 17th, 2012 at 11:30am
The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Forum on Wednesday, October 17th, in the Salmon Room at the Mill Casino to provide information to voters on the proposed County Charter (measure 6-143) and the County Ordinance (measure 6-144). The format for the Charter discussion will involve, both proponents and opponents having 10 minutes to explain the opportunities or the challenges of the Charter. Following those presentations will be a 20 minute period for questions from the audience. Tim Novotny will be our moderator.
Thanks for your interest and response. Our Wednesday Business Connection runs from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. What we intend to do is use an hour for examining these two measures. Beginning at noon measure 6-143 will be explained by both side, with questions, as outlined below for 40 minutes. Following that measure 6-144 will be similarly examined for 20 minutes with 5 minute proponent and opponent statements and 10 minutes of questions from the audience.
